Important Announcement: Sunset and Relaunch of New Model

The Current Version of the Nurses on the Frontline: Emergencies and Disaster Series is no longer available for enrollment.

A new NURSES ON THE FRONT LINE: Preparing for Emergencies and Disasters series is under development and is scheduled to be released by August 17, 2020, prior to the start of the Fall Semester. Regrettably, grant funding is not available to produce the new series. In order to fund the development, launch and ongoing maintenance of the new series, we are shifting to a pay model for access and use of the new product. If you have any specific questions or if we can provide additional clarity regarding program components, costs or how to order the new series please contact Shalace Gregg at sonvip@gwu.edu.

 WHY REVAMP/UPGRADE THE SERIES?

  1. The technology platform that the original series was built on is obsolete and no longer vendor-supported – rendering the system unsustainable.
  2. The content itself has aged and needs to be updated and/or replaced to reflect the many changes that have occurred over the past twelve years regarding disaster and emergency preparedness associated with chemical, radiological, nuclear and explosive and biological events.
  3. Additionally, information and experiences regarding new pandemics (e.g., Covid-19) must be incorporated to modernize the curriculum.

NEW UPGRADED MODEL

The new model is priced per student/user and based on a 1-year agreement term.

  • 1-60 STUDENTS - $39 per student
  • 61-100 STUDENTS - $29 per student
  • 101+ STUDENTS - $19 per student

If you have any specific questions or if we can provide additional clarity regarding program components, costs or how to place orders please contact Shalace Gregg at sonvip@gwu.edu.
